This is the real deal, researched and constructed by Jeffrey Stelter right after the premiere of Return of the King. Don't compare or be fooled by sheet foam replicas, this piece is professionally rotocast in thick black resin in a silicone mold taken from the original master, then hard foam filled, solid and heavy like it should be, NOT craft foam or 3D printed junk! The texture is what sets this masterful creation aside, it is as close to a cast iron medieval piece as you can get, see the close up pictures. The handle is solid cast resin and the iron chain features hand welded spikes on each link with large screw eyes attaching to the body and handle. The finish is a rusty blackened metal with pits, crusty crevices and worn metal showing through. Real chemical patinas are used to truly bring out the Mordor look and feel.
